Samantha Kenneally
Meet Samantha! Sam is the Founder and CEO of Meraki Home Care.
What started with a beautiful vision and dream, Sam and her team, have been able to enlighten and enrich the lives of our seniors by helping support them on their journey within the comfort of their home.
Sam has over 10 years of experience working in a variety of settings. Home care is where she always felt she could make the biggest difference, and no matter where her journey took her, she always found her way back to home care. In 2021, Sam decided to be part of the change, and launched Meraki Home Care. She leads with her heart and strives to make everyone feel special.
Sam is always looking for ways to expand her knowledge and to be able to bring out the best of herself, so she may bring out the best in everyone she encounters, regardless of where they are at on their journey. Sam has recently taken a step back, and has been working more behind the scenes while she is furthering her education. This will allow her to be able to offer more support in the near future. She is currently enrolled in the Practical Nursing program; and if she wasn't busy enough, Sam is also part of an empowerment project, where she is working towards becoming a certified yoga instructor specializing in senior yoga.

Sheri Power
Continuing Care Assistant
Raised on the Eastern shore of Nova Scotia, in a small community named East Ship Harbour, is where Sheri has learned about the importance of helping others.
About how being kind, considerate, and having compassion are the fundamentals of life. There was always a helping hand in her community, where people always worked together as a team to get things accomplished. It was there, she had dreamed about becoming a nurse, so that she could help others.
At the age of 15, she and her family moved to the beautiful Annapolis Valley. Upon graduating with the bronze governor's general award, she made the choice of attending Community College and graduated receiving a Receptionist Diploma.
As life took many twists and turns, she ended up working in factories for many years, but never forgot her childhood dream. At 42 an opportunity arose for her to go back to school, so she applied for the CCA course and was accepted. Juggling school and a family was a struggle at times, but Sheri was successful at graduating in November 2013.
Upon graduation, Sheri worked with VON for many years, life took more twists and turns, which brought her to Meraki Homecare. Sheri says working with Meraki Homecare was one of the best decisions she has ever made. It is so nice to work for a company that has the same morals and values she has been brought up on.
